At Sound Mind Acupuncture, we are different from other acupuncture clinics because we integrate acupuncture into our female-focused, Chinese Medicine inspired lifestyle coaching and emotional clearing package. We do not offer acupuncture as a stand-alone session.
NET is a mind-body stress-relieving technique that helps identify and remove unprocessed stress from the nervous system. Unresolved stress can shows up as a "barrier"to moving forward in life, as physical pain and symptoms, and unhelpful emotional responses and limiting thought patterns. With NET, patients are able to get free from stress-related symptoms surprisingly quickly. NET is offered on its own or as an integral part of our 13 week female-focused, Chinese Medicine inspired lifestyle coaching and emotional clearing package.

NET may be scheduled on its own or scheduled with an acupuncture appointment. Sometimes we use homeopathic remedies during NET sessions. Purchasing a remedy to use at home may be recommended as part of your care. ​
Muscle Testing for Nutritional Protocols
Carol is certified in Contact Reflex Analysis (CRA) and trained in the Lebowitz Technique, systems of frequency medicine that incorporate manual muscle testing, to determine what supplements resonate with your body. It is a way to pinpoint protocols very specifically to you. Carol is trained in other modalities that we may incorporate into this time.

Financial and Insurance
Sound Mind Acupuncture does not participate in insurance systems. This means we are an "out of network provider".

We accept HSA & FSA. Typically HSA & FSA accounts cover acupuncture and NET, but not always supplements.

We require a card on file for all active clients.

Payment is due at time of service.
​
Late Cancels, Missed Visits, and very late arrivals are charged a fee to the card on file as follows: Appointments canceled with less than 1 business day (24 hours of a business day) notice are charged 50% of the visit cost. Missed appointments ("no shows) or appointments cancelled less than 3 hours before appointment start time are charged the full visit cost. Arriving 15 minutes late to your appointment forfeits the appointment and incurs a missed visit fee.
